CINCINNATI (MarketWatch) - Following a steep two-week rally for the major U.S. benchmarks, the Volatility Index notched its lowest close on Tuesday since Sept. 8, 2008.
And while reaching this milestone gives the bear case a pulse, it's not yet clear that the current leg higher has run its course.
